Designed with excellent balance and leverage need for serious competition.  Mouthpiece is exceptional.  Everyone should have it as part of their standard equipment.  Comfortable for a horse to pack, it has a roller for a nervous horse and applies light tongue pressure to get the head down.  The limited bend in the mouth allows the horse to feel the bit and locks before becoming too severe on the outer bars.
